Candied Fruit Bread

"This is a super bread for tea at Christmas time whilst you do not want to make fruitcake. It is an antique recipe that belonged to my mom, and in reality accurate."

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups sifted all-cause flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • half of teaspoon salt
  • 1/four teaspoon floor cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/four cup chopped candied citron
  • 1/4 cup currants
  • 2 tablespoons chopped candied cherries
  • 2 tablespoons chopped candied lemon peel
  • 1/four cup chopped blanched almonds
  • 1/four cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions :

Prep : Cook : 6M Ready in :
  • Grease an 8 x 5 inch loaf tin very well. Preheat oven to 375 levels F (190 ranges C).
